Hey all! It's finally me, Tim, writing a post :) I haven't done this since around Thanksgiving- oh well. Anyway, life is great. I'm working/looking for another job, my dad's in town for the summer to help out with Becky, our ward is just plain cool, and things are starting to fall into place more and more. We like life!
Anyways, the title really has to do with this weekend. Our original plan was to go camping- Janae knows how much I love fishing and sleeping on hard rocks all night, and I know that she likes to swim (even though rivers are incredibly cold, we'll have to figure something out...), so we were going to head down to Payson and try our luck in the wild for a night. Anyway, we got a phone call today with an offer that we couldn't resist- Katie Lee wanted to know if we could help take care of her youngest, Ashton, for the weekend. She mentioned that he could tag along for whatever we were planning, so no major plans needed to be changed. I think it would be an adventure to take a toddler camping with us, but we'll see how that all turns out. I don't think we quite have all the things we need to go camping yet, so me might just scratch that all together. We do have an awesome tent though- we like it so much that we set it up in the living room a while back and slept there :) We're awesome.
So yeah, weekends have been kind of random for the past few months- we do what we can. Last week Joseph took us to see the new star trek and Christina was there too, which wasn't planned at all for us earlier that week, and the weekend before that we were supposed to get together with Joseph and Michelle Adams, but that just didn't happen (our bad, sorry guys!), so I'm starting to wonder if planned weekends should even be a regular occurrence for the Wallace family... We have some fun ones planned for later this summer so we'll see how those turn out and let you all know what we think. Maybe it will all just come down to planning 5 months in advance- maybe THEN something will go as planned. I'm totally up for changes though; in fact, I like random changes because they make life fun. WOOT! Well, that pretty much ends it for now- live long and prosper!
p.s. for all of those who think you're as cool as me and my dad, you'll probably never top having the same pair of shoes like we do now :) That's right, we both got the same pair of shoes today! We're awesome; well, he's more awesome, but the two of us together are WAY awesome. Zaijian for now!
